Greetings! My name is Mark Higgins, and I am the owner of MCH Organizing located in Bangor, ME. In 2004 I founded a successful business specializing in fireplaces, stoves, chimney & venting systems, Bar-B-Que, and all things hearth related. We sold the business to new owners in 2016. Over the last several years, I have dealt with my aging parents and all the challenges that come with that, including downsizing and estate management after my mother’s recent passing. Those experiences and finding a lack of NAPO professional organizers in Central, Coastal, and Northern Maine led me to establish MCH Organizing this past year. I missed working with my clients from my past business, and I have a strong desire to help improve people’s lives. These things motivated me to become a NAPO member and do some good in my community. My previous business experience gave me the skill set that fits nicely with being a professional organizer. My natural sense of empathy and life experiences lets me connect with my clients to help them manage some challenging situations. I connected with Karen Martin (CA local agent) through NAPO, and she brought FairSplit to my attention. I have spent some time investigating and trying your free product, and I think it would be a good fit for me as I grow this new business. I am very interested in becoming a Local Agent here in Maine.
